This Privacy Policy is designed to give you information on how we collect and process your personal data using this website. This includes any data you may provide through this website when you make a purchase or otherwise interact with us. This website is not intended for juniors and we do not knowingly collect data relating to juniors, except regarding junior waves for some of our events when such information is submitted by parents/guardians.
For the purpose of the GDPR 2018, the data controller is COURSE HAVOC.

  1. What information is collected and why?
    If you have registered with us, we will have collected your telephone number, email address, postal address and the chosen payment for your purchase. Once you have entered an event we will also have collected personal information including your date of birth, emergency contact and further information collected from a PAR-Q form. The purpose of this is to ensure we carry out the necessary safety measurements and to contact you if there are any changes to the event on top of any emergencies that may occur during the event.
  2. External web services in relation to COURSE HAVOC?
    COURSE HAVOC will be using a number of different web services to market and display our website. COURSE HAVOC cannot be held responsible for the information given from yourself on these web services.
  3. Security and storage of your data?
    We will ensure all information you supply is held securely on our system and we will take all appropriate safety and security measures to protect against unauthorised access of the information. This will be carried out by encrypting data files and will not be stored for any longer than what is necessary, so for this reason your data will be stored for 2 years. This will be regulated by our designated data protection team and disposed of securely.
  4. Transferring your information?
    COURSE HAVOC will not transfer your information provided to a third party without the consent and permission from yourself. This however is exempt in cases when we are required to comply with law and court orders.
  5. Rights of access
    By law you are entitled to access and request a copy of your personal information that COURSE HAVOC hold. You are also entitled to request that your information is deleted from our database at any given point.

The information we collect and store is in line with the legal basis of GDPR. The purpose of this is to send you information, detect and prevent fraud, take payments and to provide/improve our customer service. If any of your personal information changes before the start date of the event you have entered it is your responsibility to ensure changes are made via contacting us. COURSE HAVOC hold the right to change or update this privacy policy at any point.
